Uttarakhand: People are getting the benefit of medical facilities in remote areas of the state, the result of the hard work of the officers and employees associated with NHM – Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar

The interest of every employee associated with the National Health Mission is paramount, Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar, Health Secretary and N.H.M. The Mission Director said this during the talks held in the Secretariat on Friday regarding the various demands of the office bearers of the National Health Mission Contract Employees Organization, Uttarakhand.

It was told by the Health Secretary that the result of the hard work of the officers and employees associated with the National Health Mission is that the National Health Mission is providing the benefits of medical facilities to the common people in the remote areas of the state. Due to the geographical location of Uttarakhand, there are many challenges before the health workers, despite this, NHM Uttarakhand is doing a good job.

Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar directed the officers to immediately dispose of the various demands of the employees organization. In which, mainly keeping in mind the rights of the employees working in NHM, it was decided to make the retirement age 65 years, on the basis of continuity of the program or performance appraisal. Apart from this, facility of group insurance will be provided for the safety of the employees in case of any accident.

The secretary assured the employees organization that the monthly salary of all the employees would be given on time, along with the bonus and other benefits were given within time and the officers were instructed to settle the other demands by the organization soon.

In the meeting, Dr. Saroj Naithani, Director, NHM, Deepali Bharne, Finance Officer, Directorate of Health, Dr. Ajay Kumar Nagarkar, Officer-in-Charge, Human Resources, Kavita Kaushal, Advisor, Human Resources and President of National Health Mission Contract Employees Association, Sunil Bhandari, Vice President, Raminder Kalra, District President Anoop Chauhan, member Vinod Panuli and other officers and employees were present.
