A story like the Bollywood movie “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam” was seen in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh. Here a lover reached his married girlfriend’s in-laws house to meet her. As soon as the girlfriend’s husband came to know about this, he got his wife married to her lover. This unique marriage has now become a topic of discussion in the entire area.

The matter pertains to Bariyarpur Nagar Panchayat police station of Deoria district. A young man living here was married a year ago in a village in Thana Bhore area of Gopalganj district of Bihar state. Everything was going well but on Friday night, the wife’s lover, who is a resident of Bhore, Bihar, suddenly reached her in-laws’ house in Bariyarpur to meet his girlfriend. When he was caught inside the house, the villagers gathered. The lover was beaten severely.

Seeing her lover being beaten so badly, the girlfriend started pleading her husband to let her go. Seeing this, the husband’s heart sank and he decided to get his wife married to her lover. The husband first convinced his family members and in-laws. When he agreed to this marriage, the husband got his wife married to her lover in the temple. Then bid farewell to both of them happily.

Had an affair for two years

According to Akash Shah, a resident of Redwaria village of Bhore police station in Gopalganj district of Bihar, he was having a love affair with a girl living in his neighboring village for two years. He does small welding work. Meanwhile, a year ago the girl got married in Bariyarpur police station area of Deoria but he was not able to forget his girlfriend. Meanwhile, he reached her in-laws’ house to meet her on Friday night. First the villagers beat him there. But later he got married to his girlfriend.

Police station in-charge Digvijay Singh said that he had also received information about this matter. But the villagers resolved the matter at the village level.
