Police arrested soldier Manpreet Sharma for sending secret information to Pakistani intelligence agency ISI

Police have arrested Manpreet Sharma, a soldier posted in Western Command Chandimandir (Panchkula), Haryana, on charges of sending Indian intelligence information to Pakistani agency. Many important documents have also been recovered from the accused.

According to the information, the accused was sending maps, photos and information of Yol Army Cantt located in Himachal Pradesh to Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI. Police has also recovered a copy of the 140-page file of the cantt from his house.

According to the police, accused Manpreet Sharma was planning to flee abroad and had also prepared fake documents to obtain visas for Canada, UK and New Zealand.

But before this, the police exposed the case through drug smuggler Amrik Singh and Manpreet Sharma was arrested.

Police investigation revealed that the accused had given the maps, photos and other intelligence information of Yol Army Cantt to drug smuggler Amrik Singh in the name of money, after which the drug smuggler gave this file to ISI agent Sher Khan.
