It is being claimed that this statue will be installed in the Ram temple. However, now Acharya Satyendra Das, the chief priest of Ram Janmabhoomi, has given such a statement regarding this idol, due to which questions are being raised on the idol. Acharya Satyendra Das has said that the idol shown in the picture going viral is not correct.

Acharya Satyendra Das denied that it was the same idol

Regarding the consecration ceremony of Ramlala in the Ram temple, Acharya Satyendra Das, the chief priest of Ram Janmabhoomi, said that the idol shown in the photo is not correct, it should be investigated. He said that ‘the statue has been installed at the same place where it was to be installed, but the statue has not been opened yet. The idol has been kept covered.’ On the issue of opening the eyes of the idol of Lord Ramlala till the consecration, Acharya Satyendra Das clearly refused and said, ‘No, this cannot happen.’

He said that ‘when the idol is ready and when it is decided that this idol has to be taken away, then its eyes are closed. The statue that appears to be with its eyes open is not a statue at all. He said that such a form cannot be found and if it is found then it will be investigated. There will be an investigation as to who opened it and how it went viral. On the issue of makeup before consecration, he said that all the work can be done, but the eyes cannot be opened. Let us tell you that the eyes of any statue are kept covered till the consecration and along with the consecration, any other work is done. The eyes of the statue are opened completely.
