Voting will be held tomorrow for 5 seats in Uttarakhand, more than 11 thousand polling parties are leaving today

Voting will be held in the first phase on all five seats of Uttarakhand tomorrow i.e. on Friday. Before this, the noise of election campaign in the state has stopped. Liquor ban has been implemented in the state. There will be a ban on sale and transportation of liquor till the completion of voting.

On Wednesday, 703 polling parties were sent to conduct the voting. At the same time, today more than 11 thousand polling parties will be sent to their destination. Additional Chief Electoral Officer Vijay Kumar Jogdande said, today candidates will be able to campaign only door-to-door.

584 polling places in Chamoli
544 polling parties will leave for polling centers in Chamoli district for the elections. Whereas 40 parties have reached the polling centers on Wednesday itself for remote polling centres. A total of 584 polling stations have been created in the three assemblies of Chamoli district.

There will be live webcasting of 5,892 polling booths
Live webcasting of 5,892 polling booths of the state will be done, which can be seen and heard in the districts as well as in the state level control room.

Arrangement of 15 thousand EVMs to conduct voting
15 thousand EVMs and VVPATs have been installed in the state for the Lok Sabha elections. On April 19, the fate of 55 candidates will be sealed. Chief Electoral Officer Dr. BVRC Purushottam said, voting will be held in the state on Friday from 7 am to 5 pm. Voters who enter the polling place by 5 pm will be able to cast their votes.
