Many EVM machines broke down in Lalkuan assembly, voters got worried

Voting has started at 7 am for all five seats of Uttarakhand. Voters have started reaching the polling booths since morning to cast their votes outside the polling stations. There are reports of many EVM machines getting damaged in Lalkuan Assembly.

News of EVM machines malfunctioning is coming from Lalkuan assembly of Nainital district. More than half a dozen EVM machines are said to be faulty in different booths. Due to which people have become worried. Assistant Election Officer Paritosh Verma took cognizance of the machines breaking down. After which voting was started again after replacing the faulty EVM machines.

More than 83 lakh voters will decide the fate of 55 candidates
In Dehradun, former Chief Minister and BJP candidate from Haridwar, Trivendra Singh Rawat, reached the polling booth in Defense Colony in the morning with his family to vote. Trivendra Rawat will vote at the polling booth of Tehri Lok Sabha seat. Let us tell you that today more than 83 lakh voters of the state will decide the fate of 55 candidates.
