A young man died due to the negligence of the district hospital in Bijnor, UP. Twenty-six-year-old Sarfaraz was undergoing dialysis in Bijnor’s district hospital, when the hospital lost power. Half of Sarfaraz’s blood was in the machine. As soon as the power went out, the machine stopped, due to which Sarfaraz’s condition worsened. He died a painful death in a short while, while the hospital had a generator, but there was no diesel to run it.

The surprising thing is that at the time when Sarfaraz died, CDO Bijnor was inspecting Purna Bora Hospital. As soon as he got the information about the death of the patient during dialysis, he reached there. He found that dialysis processing of five more patients was going on, but due to lack of electricity, the machines, fans and lights were also off, seeing which the CDO sent his staff to get fifty liters of diesel and started the generator. Then he started investigating the activities of the medical hospital administration.

A 3-hour dialysis procedure takes 5 hours

The dialysis staff told the CDO that the contract for the dialysis department of the medical hospital is with Sanjeevani Dialysis firm, but the company manager does not order diesel, due to which the machines often stop working when the power supply fails. A 3-hour dialysis procedure takes five hours.

Mother said- son was feeling uneasy

Sarfaraz’s mother Salma told that her son Sarfaraz was undergoing dialysis. When the power went out, half the blood was left in the machine, then her son started having pain in his stomach. The doctor asked her to bring an injection for stomach pain. After this, she brought the prescription and the injection. Sarfaraz was given an injection. Then he was given medicine, but he was feeling uneasy.

Life lost due to doctors’ negligence

She told that when she asked to start the generator, the medical staff said that there was no diesel. She cried and asked everyone to start the generator, but by then it was too late. Sarfaraz died. His son’s life was taken due to the negligence of the hospital staff and doctors. CDO Purna Bora said that many complaints were being received about Bijnor Medical Hospital, for which he went to investigate. Then it was found that due to lack of electricity in the dialysis department, the condition of dialysis patients is deteriorating.

CDO said that a young man died tragically in front of him. All the records of the dialysis department have been seized. Here the machines, medicines are all kept in filth. Medical hospital principal Dr. Usha has been asked to keep the system in order, so that the patients can get good treatment.
