Medical camp for women and adolescent girls organised in Uttarakhand, benefits can be availed till October 2

The Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan (Healthy Women Empowerment Family) campaign launched in Uttarakhand on Wednesday. Women Empowerment and Child Development Minister Rekha Arya called on the state’s women to undergo health checkups as part of this campaign in mission mode.

In conjunction with the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan program held at the Doon Medical College auditorium, health checkups for women have also begun across the state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the program virtually from Madhya Pradesh. The PM emphasized the need for women’s empowerment for the country’s progress and stated that good health is essential for the nation’s prosperity.
Medical camps will be held for women and adolescent girls until October 2nd
Minister Rekha Arya said that medical camps will be held across the state until October 2nd under this campaign. She said that all adolescent girls and women in the state should undergo health checkups at these camps. The minister said that if women are completely healthy, it will increase the productivity of the entire family and empower the state.
Minister Inspects Stalls
Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya inspected the exhibitions and stalls set up by various departments at the venue and gathered information about various products. She also interacted with several farmers growing new varieties of cash crops and learned about their experiences. The Minister encouraged the women by praising the quality and usefulness of the various products they had prepared.
