PM Modi posted a photo of his meeting with Sergio Gor on social media. He wrote, “I am delighted to welcome US Ambassador-designate Sergio Gor to India. I am confident that his tenure will further strengthen the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership.”

US Ambassador Sergio Gor said that it was an honor and privilege for him to be in India. He said that he held important meetings with Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Mishra, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.

Referring to his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said that the two leaders discussed bilateral issues such as defense, trade, and technology. Furthermore, discussions focused on the importance of critical minerals and their significance for both countries.
