Haridwar : Seventh International Yoga Day was celebrated with enthusiasm at Patanjali Yogpeeth. On the occasion of International Day of Yoga, Swami Ramdev performed a healthy life and a healthy body while chanting yoga in the presence of Swami Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna in the Yoga Bhavan auditorium located in the Yoga Bhavan Phase-II. Yoga is said to be the only means for attainment. While addressing the yoga seekers, Swami Ramdev said that Yoga is the journey from individual to collective. The program started with yogic skating, yogic gymnastics, mallakhambha, wrestling, yogic postures and floats. On this occasion, Swami Ramdev said that in today’s era, Yoga religion is paramount, Yoga Dharma is Yuga Dharma, Rashtra Dharma, Seva Dharma, Manav Dharma, Spiritual Dharma and Bhagwat Dharma. Yoga is the solution to all our problems, physical, mental, social, emotional, religious and spiritual. Yoga for Health, Yoga for Wellness, Yoga for Peace, Yoga for Harmony are the different dimensions of Yoga. Yoga is a brahmastra, through which we build our life by strengthening our body power, morale, self-power, and finally attain nirvana, salvation. Swami Ramdev called upon him to take a pledge to do yoga every day, not just for one day. Become useful for the nation by becoming a yogavritti, yagyavrtti, ayurveda vritti, prakritikvritti, swadeshivritti, patriotism and spirituality through yogic life. Personal, family, social, economic, political, religious, spiritual, in every aspect of life, we have to take a holistic view, have a balanced, just, loving vision. Vedas, Shastras and our ancestors also give us this vision.
On this occasion, Acharya Balkrishna Maharaj while addressing the yoga seekers said that in the present era, the origin of yoga is Patanjali Yogpeeth and the originating person is Swami Ramdev Maharaj. He said that yoga can be done in different ways, it has different parts and dimensions. Various diseases can be destroyed by yoga. The Prime Minister himself has said that Yoga has contributed a lot in saving the lives of doctors, not the general public. It is undeniable that yoga has immense power. We all have to recognize that power and join yoga as soon as possible to make the world disease free and save it from violence. One who has simplicity, truthfulness and non-violence in his life, he will carry the same things in the world as well. Today, to make the world beautiful, various measures are being taken all over the world, but yoga is the way to make a person beautiful. When the individual is created, the world will be created automatically. Let us all together assimilate yoga and take a pledge to take yoga to every person in the world. Just as yoga has reached 200 countries due to the efforts of the Prime Minister, similarly, due to the efforts of Swami Ramdev, brothers and sisters associated with Patanjali are conducting yoga programs in 200 countries. Said that the odd circumstances of the Corona period have shown how much power, strength and power there is in yoga. Now Yoga is not a test, Yoga should be practiced, Yoga should be assimilated in life. If we become yogis, we will remain healthy. The more we are healthy, the more useful and beneficial we will prove to be for the country and society.
During this, the yoga seekers present were made to practice and meditate on various asanas and pranayama like Kapalbhati, Anulom-Antonym, Sheetali and Bhramari etc. On this occasion a website based on Patanjali Yogsutra was launched by the lotus of Acharya Balkrishna Maharaj. Yogasutras will be available in five languages Hindi, Sanskrit, German, French and English simultaneously through the website. Swami Videhdev has played an important role in this work. Swami Ramdev Maharaj congratulated Sadhvi Devpriya, Dr. Jaideep Arya, Rakesh Kumar, all state in-charge, youth in-charge, social media in-charge, in-charge of all seven organizations, Ramashish, Sachin, Vinod etc. for their efforts towards the organization.
