Retail inflation rate at 6.26 per cent in June

Retail inflation based on retail prices has been recorded at 6.26 per cent in June 2021. According to the data, the prices of coarse cereals have come down by 1.94 per cent in June. Apart from this, the prices of meat and fish have increased by 4.83 percent. Eggs have increased by 19.350 percent, milk 1.89 percent, oil 34.78 percent, fruits 11.82 percent, pulses 10.03 percent, spices by 5.69 percent. The prices of vegetables have come down by 0.70 percent.
