Uttar Pradesh / Betiya : 8 killed in suspicious condition in Bihar, fear of dying due to drinking spurious liquor!

At least eight people have died of suspected spurious liquor consumption in the last two days in Lauria block of West Champaran district of Bihar, while many are still undergoing treatment. Villagers are calling it death due to drinking spurious liquor. Meanwhile, an FIR in this matter has also been registered at Lauria police station.
According to the information received from the police, there was news of the death of eight people in Lauria block. Villagers are calling it a case of death by drinking spurious liquor.
The Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Champaran Zone told RNS today that an FIR has been registered at Lauria police station on the statement of a victim in this case. Two people have been made accused in the FIR registered.
He said that in the FIR registered, it has been alleged that he died of spurious liquor.
According to the villagers, the dead include Bikau Ansari, Latif Mian, Ramvriksha Chaudhary, residents of Deurwa village, Naeem Hajam of Bulai village, Bhagwan Panda of Sitapur village, Suresh Sah of Jogia village, Ratul Mian of Bagahi and Jhunna Mian of Gonhi.
Here, many people are being treated in different hospitals.
Police is probing the whole matter. He said that whoever is guilty will not be spared.
