Assembly elections 2022, PM Modi-Amit Shah in BJP’s national executive meeting

The top leadership of BJP has intensified preparations for the assembly elections to be held in 2022. The BJP National Executive meeting began in the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) conference hall in the capital on Sunday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who came to attend the meeting, was welcomed by the party’s national president JP Nadda.

  • The BJP’s national executive meeting began on 7 November at the NDMC convention hall in Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Modi) arrived to attend the meeting. The party’s national president JP Nadda welcomed him. Nadda and Prime Minister Modi formally started the program by lighting the lamp.
  • After the start of the program, there was a presidential address by Nadda. The meeting will end with the address of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
  • 124 members of the National Working Committee, including BJP President Nadda, personally attended this first face-to-face meeting after the corona epidemic, while state units led by the Chief Minister and state presidents in 36 states and union territories through digital medium.   • PM Narendra Modi will give a message of victory to the workers. An exhibition has also been put up here in which other achievements of the central government, including Kovid vaccination, have been described.
    The venue is littered with BJP flags and posters of other leaders including Prime Minister Modi and Nadda. In some such posters, Modi has been described as a “world darling” leader. At the main entrance of the venue, there is a life-size picture of Modi on one side and Nadda on the other.
  • The leaders attending the program have to go through other procedures to prevent Kovid including temperature checks. All the leaders who attended the program were welcomed by the Delhi Pradesh BJP with drums and slogans.
  • This meeting of BJP is very important in view of the assembly elections to be held in the coming months. Elections are to be held in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Manipur, Goa and Punjab. BJP is in government in four of these states.
  • If the BJP gets a setback in any of the four states, then it can have an impact on the 2024 Lok Sabha general elections.
