IAF tweeted and said – wait for the report of TRAI Service Inquiry, the truth will be in front of everyone

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has appealed to the people expressing the possibility of conspiracy in the Coonoor helicopter accident. The IAF has said that we have started a tri-service inquiry into the incident. The investigation is going on fast and after that the facts will come out. The IAF said that till then unnecessary speculations should be avoided for the sake of the martyrs.
The IAF was referring to the reports, which have expressed apprehension that the helicopter of Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat was not an accident but a victim of some conspiracy.
Who was entrusted with the investigation of the helicopter accident, when will the report come?
The tri-service inquiry will be headed by Air Marshal Manvendra Singh. Singh is the Commander of the Training Command of the Indian Air Force and he himself is also a helicopter pilot. In this investigation team, senior officers of the three services as well as technical teams will also be included. The investigation had started on the day of the accident i.e. on December 8. The IAF did not specify the date, but has said that the results of the investigation will be out soon.
IAF has constituted a tri-service Court of Inquiry to investigate the cause of the tragic helicopter accident on 08 Dec 21. The inquiry would be completed expeditiously & facts brought out. Till then, to respect the dignity of the deceased, uninformed speculation may be avoided.

Why did the IAF have to make such an appeal?
First reason: It has been claimed in many reports that General Rawat’s helicopter has become a victim of conspiracy, not accident. Many retired army officers and BJP MPs themselves have questioned the accident.
BJP MP Subramanian Swamy has said that the incident of death of a senior army officer in a helicopter crash happened in his own country. The staff operating that helicopter was from the military. That’s why I say that there should be no pressure on the military. It should not happen that the facts which are there should be suppressed or the grounds which are there, they should be curtailed. For this investigation there should be a person who is not from the army and also not under the government, he can only be a judge of the Supreme Court.
Second reason: Like General Rawat, Taiwan’s military chief was also killed in a plane crash a year ago. Many experts on social media, linking the two incidents, said that China could be behind Rawat’s helicopter crash, as Rawat used to give a befitting reply to China on every front. Taiwan’s Military Chief of General Staff General Shen Yi Ming was also taking a tough stand against China.
How strong is Conspiracy Theory?
Retired Brigadier Sudhir Sawant, who has served for 35 years in the Indian Army, had claimed in a conversation with Bhaskar that the people of the area where the accident took place, the people of the LTTE have also been very supportive. In such a situation, there is every possibility that the helicopter crash of CDS is a conspiracy attack, in which the sleeper cells of LTTE are involved. If this attack happens, then ISI can also support and cooperate with LTTE in this.
What has been found in the investigation so far?
- Air Chief Marshal VR Choudhary inspected the accident site.
- The black box of the helicopter was recovered from the accident site the day after the accident.
- The cockpit voice recorder fitted in the helicopter has also been achieved.
