Earlier, according to the data released on Friday, active cases of corona infection in the country had crossed 15 thousand. According to the data updated by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Friday, in the last 24 hours, 2,710 cases were found and 14 people died, of which 12 were from Kerala alone. During this an increase of 400 was registered in active cases and their number had increased to 15,814.

The recovery rate of patients is 98.75 percent and the death rate remains at 1.22 percent. At the same time, the daily infection rate is 0.58 percent and the weekly infection rate is 0.52 percent. According to the data of the Kovin portal, a total of 193 crore doses of anti-corona vaccine have been applied so far. These include 101 crore first, 88.64 crore second and 3.29 crore vigilance doses.
