Hand-foot and mouth disease knock in Uttarakhand, cases found in children here; Health department alert issued

In many states of the country, cases of hand-foot and mouth disease (HFMD) in children have started being found in Dharmanagari as well. Every day one to two children are coming to the OPD of the district hospital with symptoms of this disease. Apart from the government hospital, children are also reaching the OPD of private doctors.
According to Dr. Akhilesh Chauhan, Pediatrician of the District Hospital, children are not at risk from HFMD, but should be treated immediately as soon as symptoms appear. With HFMD, a child may develop a mild fever as well as a red rash on the feet and hands.
If any such problem is seen, then immediately go to the hospital. In the last few days, so far about 20 children suffering from HFMD disease have reached the district hospital for treatment. In a private hospital near Desh Rakshak Tirahe, 15 children have reached this month with symptoms of this disease.
Dr. Akhilesh Chauhan, the operator of the private hospital told that a child suffering from this disease is also undergoing treatment in his hospital. Hospitals are seeing an increase in cases of hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) in children. After which many steps have been taken to stop the spread of the virus.
Disease contagious
HFMD is viral fever. Due to this viral infection, red blisters appear on the hands, feet, forearms and mouth of children. Some children also have high fever. It is highly contagious although it is not dangerous.
Advisory issued
Many schools have issued advisory for the parents of the children. Which states that it is a common disease, but quite a contagious viral disease that usually infects children under 5 years of age.

According to doctors, children who are infected with this virus develop rashes in their body, some of them have joint pain, stomach cramps, nausea, fatigue-vomiting, diarrhea, cough, sneezing, runny nose, sharp There is also complaint of fever and body aches.

If someone is infected, then he should not come in contact with other people. It is necessary to stay in isolation. To prevent the spread of this disease, utensils, clothes and other items of everyday use should be cleaned of the infected. No one should come in contact with the infected.
Children with symptoms of this type of disease are coming daily one or two. Now such patients are coming less than before. But this month also about 20 children with symptoms of this disease have come for treatment.
