Chief Minister Dhami was addressing the program organized on the occasion of the 22nd anniversary of the establishment of the state at Gorkha Military Inter College, Garhikant on Friday. Work is being done with new resolutions and commitment in the development of Uttarakhand. All the departments have prepared a roadmap in the interest of the state. It has been resolved to make Devbhoomi the leading state of the country. By the year 2025, the silver jubilee of the establishment of the state, we will definitely succeed in fulfilling this resolution.

Online system should not be a mere formality

He instructed the departments that the online system, portal and mobile app created keeping in mind the public interest should not remain as mere formalities. It should be ensured that the common people get their widespread benefits. All departments will have to pay special attention to this. In the development of the state, continuous efforts will be made to reach the destination by walking on a straight and straight path. After a journey of 22 years, the state has made many achievements. We still have many challenges ahead of us. We know the challenges and have full faith in our strengths.

Cultural heritage our strength

He said that migration, improvement in education and health sector, balanced development of remote and marginal areas of the state are our challenges. Our hardworking mother power, youth power, natural beauty, forest wealth, rich cultural and spiritual heritage are our biggest strengths.

Youth will get employment opportunities

The Chief Minister said that efforts are on continuously in this direction to provide better employment and self-employment opportunities to the youth in the state. Arrangements are also being made to dedicate the schemes for which the foundation stone will be laid so that the general public gets the benefit of the public welfare schemes quickly.

Release of the booklet Agragami Uttarakhand

In the programme, the Chief Minister released the development booklet ‘Sankalp Naye Uttarakhand Ka’ of the Information and Public Relations Department and the book Agragami Uttarakhand prepared on the best practices of the Planning Department.

He inaugurated citizen-centric Apni Sarkar Portal, CM Helpline Mobile App Dark Lake, ITDA-CALC and SDWAN, online services of Transport Department, Panchayati Raj Department online system developed by Information Technology Development Agency.

Special Principal Secretary Information Abhinav Kumar gave the welcome speech and Director General Information Banshidhar Tiwari gave the vote of thanks. Cabinet Ministers Premchand Aggarwal, Subodh Uniyal, Rekha Arya and Chandan Ramdas, BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt, Rajya Sabha member Kalpana Saini, Mayor Sunil Uniyal Gama, many MLAs and top officials were present in the programme.
