24 Taliban terrorists killed in encounter
At least 24 Taliban militants were killed and 15 others injured in an encounter with Afghan security forces in Kunduz province here. 16 terrorists were killed and 10 others injured in an overnight operation in Seh Darak, Inayat and Jakhil areas of Kunduz city, 250 km north of Kabul.
The city of Kunduz has been witness to sporadic clashes in recent days as Taliban militants try to take control of the city.
The operation, including night raids, will continue before ridding the city of terrorists.
