A three-day protest march, being taken out against the government by the Congress Seva Dal to implement the old grade pay of the state police personnel, reached Haridwar under the leadership of Seva Dal State President Rajesh Rastogi. The three-day journey which started from Kashipur will end after reaching Raj Bhavan. Welcoming the yatra on reaching Haridwar, state spokesperson of Congress Seva Dal, Vishal Rathore said that the grade pay of police personnel has been reduced from 4600 to 2800 grade pay. Policemen have a decisive role in maintaining law and order by performing hard duty day and night. Police makes every effort to provide a safe environment to the people of the state. He said that even during the Corona period, he played a remarkable role in the service of the victims along with ensuring the compliance of the lockdown. Vishal Rathore said that instead of encouraging the policemen, the government is trying to break their morale by reducing their grade pay. In this era of inflation, the salary should increase. Policemen also have families. The state government should take care of their families. Seva Dal State President Rajesh Rastogi is taking out a yatra in support of the policemen. The Yatra is also getting the support of the people of the state. He said that the Chief Minister should implement the old grade pay of policemen at the earliest.
