PM Modi congratulates the teachers of the country on Teacher’s Day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday greeted the teacher community on Teachers’ Day and said it is commendable how teachers have found innovative ways and ensured that students’ education continues even during the coronavirus pandemic. He also paid tribute to former President S Radhakrishnan on his birth anniversary. His birth anniversary is celebrated as Teacher’s Day. Modi tweeted, “Congratulations to the entire world of teachers on Teachers’ Day who have always played an important role in nurturing the thoughts of the youth.” The academic journey of the students continued even during the pandemic. In another tweet, the Prime Minister said, “I pay homage to Dr. S. Radhakrishnan on his birth anniversary and remember his distinguished scholarship as well as his contribution to the nation.
