When the country was weakening in the name of caste, then Guru Nanak Dev Ji had said that see the light of God in everyone. He is not identified by anyone’s caste.

During the program, the PM said that when foreign invaders were trying to grab the power and wealth of India on the strength of the sword, then Guru Nanak Dev Ji had said that Babar had come from Kabul with the sword of sin and oppression. He was loudly and atrociously demanding the daughter-in-law of the government of India.

PM Modi said that the valor and sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur against Aurangzeb teaches us how the country fights against terror and religious fanaticism. Similarly, the life of tenth Guru Gurugobind Singh ji is also a living example of tenacity and sacrifice at every step.
