There will be no election for new president in BJP, only JP Nadda will take charge now

There is a lot of excitement in the Congress regarding the election of the President. At the same time, the election of the head of the party is not going to take place in the BJP. Sources say that the tenure of JP Nadda will be extended till 2024. His term ends on 20 January 2023. Please tell that Jagat Prakash Nadda was the working president of BJP for the first seven months. After this, on 20 January 2020, he took over the post of National President. Accordingly, his three years are being completed on 20 January 2023. However, the command of the BJP can remain in his hands till the 2024 general elections.

JP Nadda, who entered politics from student life, is known for his clean image. Apart from this, he is also considered close to the RSS. He has been a minister not only at the Center but also in Himachal Pradesh. From 1998 to 2003, he was a cabinet minister in Himachal Pradesh. After this, he also held the ministerial post in the Dhumal government from 2008 to 2010. In 2012, he became a member of the Rajya Sabha for the first time. In the Modi government, he took over the responsibility of the Ministry of Health.

Height increased after BJP’s victory in UP
It is said that the way to the throne of Delhi passes through Uttar Pradesh. JP Nadda was given the responsibility of Uttar Pradesh during the Lok Sabha elections in 2019. The challenge was not easy as SP and BSP were challenging together. However, JP Naddi’s strategy worked wonders and BJP won 64 seats in UP. On the other hand, SP, BSP together got only 15 seats. After this victory, the stature of JP Nadda increased in the party.

In the Bharatiya Janata Party, first the state organizations are elected. When elections are held in half the states, then the election of the national president can be held. According to the BJP constitution, an electoral college elects the national president. Apart from this, whoever wants to become the president, it is necessary to be an active member of the party for at least 15 years. The candidate must have the support of at least 20 members in the electoral college. Apart from this, proposals should also come from five states.
