Uttarakhand : Rudraprayag will get Rs 466 crore schemes, CM said – Government determined for development

State Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Saturday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of Rs 46680.95 lakh for various development schemes in Rudraprayag district. During this, he also made many announcements regarding the district and also inspected the stalls of various departments installed at the venue. In his address, CM Dhami said that the government is determined to make the state a leading state. He said that many schemes are being run by the Central and State Governments for every section. Let us inform that on Saturday, CM Dhami inaugurated schemes worth Rs 14294.18 lakh and laid the foundation stone for development works worth Rs 32386.77 lakh for the development of the district. During this, Kedarnath MLA Shailrani Rawat and Rudraprayag MLA Bharat Singh Chaudhary apprised the Chief Minister about the regional problems. On the demand of MLA Kedarnath, he sent a proposal to the Central Government regarding the National Highway from Mayali to Guptkashi and Bhiri to Makku-Chopta in view of the Badri-Kedar Yatra, as well as three km from Sund to Dholsari (Machkandi) Kameda, in the block of Agastyamuni. Announced the renovation of Andhergarhi to Talsari motor road from Jayachinra to Anta-Pawannagar-Thapali, four km motorway up to Bhangar Kamsal and three km motor road from Tok named Badeth to Bhatwadi village of Mayali-Guptkashi motor road. Apart from this, the Vidhan Sabha also announced the financial approval of the second phase of approved motorways for the marginal villages of Kedarnath, Chilaund, Syansu and Toshi.

At the same time, on the demand of the Rudraprayag MLA, the Chief Minister gave grant at the Inter level to Shaheed Rai Singh Bangari Inter College Chamalkot Tuneta Bhardar, Hotmix to Tilwara-Saurakhal motorway under Jakholi development block, Jakholi Mahavidyalaya to be given the status of postgraduate college as well as Hindi. He also announced the recognition of Geography, Sanskrit, History, English and Economics subjects, establishment of District Co-operative Bank in Bachhansuy area and establishment of Government Higher Secondary School at Ghenghar. Along with other demands, the Chief Minister assured their proper disposal on priority basis.

On this occasion, CM Dhami said that the divine-grand Kedarpuri is being constructed under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister has a very intimate relationship with the state of Uttarakhand, as much as he has shown for the development of our state, no other Prime Minister has ever shown it. Dhami said that the government aims to make Uttarakhand an excellent Uttarakhand till the silver jubilee of the establishment of the state. With everyone’s cooperation, the state will be made a leading state in every field, for this the state government is moving ahead with no choice.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami rewarded the eligible beneficiaries of the district under the departmental schemes operated. At the same time, the Chief Minister rewarded four self-help groups, including 37 selected eligible beneficiaries, in different schemes, block-wise, at the venue GMVN. Also, under the start-up fund, Ukhimath’s Ukhimath’s Udan Autonomous Cooperative, Agastyamuni’s Unnati Autonomous Cooperative Saterakhal, while the Women’s Utthan Autonomous Cooperative and Sangam Women’s Autonomous Cooperative, Thati Badma, of the development block Jakholi were rewarded with an amount of two lakh rupees each. Similarly, 37 other selected beneficiaries were rewarded under the scheme by the Chief Minister for shop construction and loan distribution including vegetables, fisheries, agriculture, animal husbandry, irrigation etc.
