Expressing happiness over the resounding victory in Tripura and Nagaland elections, the BJP has congratulated the entire BJP family and the people of both the states. Party State President Mahendra Bhatt has termed this victory in the North Eastern states as the people’s seal on the nationalist ideas and development works under the leadership of PM Modi.

Mahendra Bhatt said, today’s victory proves that Modi ji’s work is reaching village-to-village, door-to-door in remote areas. He alleged that despite being strategically important, the previous governments always neglected the North East. States have been kept away from development works. But Prime Minister Narendra Modi, keeping all the states of this region on priority, has not only done historical development works according to the local culture and needs, but has also strengthened the border security system by developing infrastructure. He said, we have maintained the tradition of winning again on the basis of the performance of our governments in these two states as well. He asserted, except for Himachal, Meghalaya and J&K, the formation of BJP’s nationalist governments in all the other 9 Himalayan states is auspicious for the country’s security.
