Uttarakhand Public Service Commission released recruitment notification, application started, apply like this

Uttarakhand Public Service Commission has started the online application process by releasing the advertisement of Uttarakhand Judicial Service Civil Judge Examination (PCS-J). Applications can be made for this recruitment till March 21. According to the advertisement issued by the commission, there will be recruitment for a total of 16 posts, out of which seven posts will be general. Four posts will be reserved for Scheduled Castes, one for Scheduled Tribes, three for OBCs and one for economically weaker sections. Four posts have been reserved for the women of the state under women’s reservation. Those applying for these posts must have passed LLB. He should have knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script. Must have knowledge of computer operation. The age of the applicant should be between 22 to 35 years as on January 1, 2023. Reserved category will be given relaxation in age limit as per rules.

Preliminary exam will be of 200 marks

PCS-J will first have a preliminary exam of 200 marks, in which 50 marks will be on general knowledge and 150 marks will be on method. To pass the preliminary examination, it will be mandatory to score at least 35 percent for General, EWS, 30 percent for OBC and at least 25 percent for SC, ST. After this there will be main examination for the selected candidates. There will be six papers in it. The first paper will be of current scenario for 150 marks. The second paper will be of language for 100 marks, the third paper will be for 200 marks for main law, the fourth paper will be for procedure and evidence for 200 marks, the fifth paper for revenue and criminal will be for 200 marks, and the sixth paper will be for computer for 100 marks. After this there will be an interview for 100 marks.
