Uttarakhand : Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched Lakhpati Didi Scheme

The government has intensified efforts on the scheme related to making women lakhpatis in Uttarakhand. At the same time, today the Chief Minister Lakhpati Didi Scheme has been started. Under the Mukhyamantri Lakhpati Didi Yojana, the government has set a target to make one and a half lakh women of the state lakhpatis by 2025. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami today launched Mukhyamantri Lakhpati Didi Scheme on Igas festival. A target has been set to make three lakh 67 thousand women belonging to the groups of the state as lakhpatis. The target is to make 1.5 lakh women millionaires by 2025. Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi also participated in the program. At the launch of the scheme, women reached from different districts of the state. Women who have done excellent work associated with the groups are being felicitated.

Know what is the plan?

Under the Mukhyamantri Lakhpati Didi Yojana, an action plan has been prepared to make one and a half lakh women of the state lakhpatis. Under this scheme, work will be done to increase the income of women in the state. The special thing is that various projects are being run for this by the Rural Development Department. The more important thing is that survey on income is also being done regarding the income of these women.

1.5 lakh women will become lakhpati

At present, the survey is going on to know the income status of women. According to the current conditions, 10% of women are such, whose annual income is one lakh or more. The Rural Development Department is trying to increase this number and by 2025, one and a half lakh women should be made lakhpatis.
