It was a surprising story, but before this Mahendra Singh of Allapur has repeated the same story in Prayagraj. After the funeral, when he went to beat his wife, people thought that the family members had seen a ghost. When he again argued with his in-laws, the villagers caught hold of him and beat him up. After this his brutality was exposed. Now the police have approached Orissa Police for action in the murder case.
Youth burnt in Odisha
Mahendra Singh, a resident of Allapur, was married in 2013 to the daughter of Mithilesh Singh, a resident of Sarainayat police station area. Mahendra Singh was working in Orissa. In 2021, Mahendra Singh was posted as a manager in a private lab company. He lived in Balasore, Odisha. On July 15, 2021, Mahendra Singh killed a young man named Munna Bhaiya there and burnt his dead body, so that he could not be identified. Had put my ID in its place. The next day, the Orissa police assumed that Mahendra Singh, a resident of Prayagraj, had been murdered. The police contacted Mahendra’s family members. Finally Mahendra Singh was cremated in Prayagraj.
The amount had reached to take insurance
Mahendra had also got his insurance done. The relatives took the insurance by making a claim. His widowed wife used to live with her in-laws. After the funeral in July 2021, Mahendra Singh reached his home in June 2022. When he met his wife at night, there was a dispute. He slapped the wife. He wanted the insurance money. The wife got scared and screamed but by then Mahendra had fled. Police was also informed.
The police of Georgetown police station also reached but no one believed that Mahendra Singh had reached there. After this Mahendra’s wife went to her maternal home. On June 6, 2022, Mahendra reached his in-laws house and started fighting. There the villagers caught hold of Mahendra and thrashed him and filed a case against him at Sarai Nayat police station. When the police started the investigation, Mahendra confessed that he had killed Munnabhai. The police sent the accused to jail and have corresponded with the Odisha Police for action.
