PM Modi inaugurates Terminal-2 of Kempegowda International Airport, constructed at a cost of 5000 crores

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday inaugurated Terminal-2 of Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru. Let us inform that the Kempegowda International Airport Terminal 2 in Bengaluru has been constructed at a cost of about Rs 5000 crore. Earlier, PM Modi flagged off Vande Bharat Express at KSR Railway Station in Bengaluru. PM Modi also flagged off ‘Bharat Gaurav Kashi Darshan’ train at KSR railway station after Vande Bharat Express.

Before the inauguration of Terminal-2 of Bangalore Airport, beautiful pictures of the airport have come to the fore. The beauty of this terminal is being made on sight. The entire terminal is illuminated with golden colours. For the design of the terminal, the American architecture firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) was chosen.

With the opening of T2, the passenger handling capacity as well as the counters for check-in and immigration will be doubled, which will be of great help to the people. Built at a cost of around Rs 5,000 crore, Terminal 2 will be able to handle around 5-6 crore passengers annually from the current capacity of 2.5 crore.

T2 has been decorated in the Garden City of Bangalore in such a way that you will feel that you have come to walk in the garden, not the airport. Travelers will travel through 10,000+ sqm of green walls, hanging gardens and outdoor gardens that have been created in India using indigenous technology.

PM Modi is on a two-day visit to South India

Let us inform that PM Modi is on a two-day tour to four states of South India. PM Modi reached Karnataka today. Here he first met the saint-poets Kanak Das and Maharishi Valmiki at Vidhana Soudha, the state secretariat in Bengaluru. He then reached Krantiveer Sangoli Rayanna (KSR) railway station, where he flagged off the Mysore-Chennai Vande Bharat Express.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana during the two-day visit. During his visit to the four southern states from November 11-12, the PM will be involved in several programs.
