Uttarakhand : CM Dhami reviewed the ongoing development works in the district, gave these instructions to the officers

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reviewed the ongoing development works in the district with the district level officers at the Vikas Bhavan Auditorium in Pithoragarh on Sunday and gave necessary directions to all concerned officers. During the review of the development works, the Chief Minister instructed the officers to speed up the ongoing construction work in the district. The Chief Minister specially instructed the officers of PMGSY and NH to speed up road construction and road widening works. He also instructed the concerned officials to speed up the construction work of Sports College Lelu. At the same time, instructions were also given to the concerned officials to complete the construction work of Pithoragarh District Jail soon. He also directed to handover the Pandit Nain Singh Surveyor Mountaineering Training Center, Munsiyari to the concerned department and to send the proposals for the remaining works to the government. Gave it to the officer. He instructed the officers of all the concerned executive bodies that the process of handover of the construction works which have been completed should be started.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister told the officers that there is a need to improve the progress of development works in the district, so all concerned officers should understand their responsibility and complete the development works at the earliest so that the people of the district can take advantage of those development schemes. He said that even the construction works which started many years ago have not been completed yet, which is a matter of concern. He said that whether the money belongs to the state government or the central government, it should be ensured that it is used in a planned manner so that the public can get the benefit of that amount on time. He said that the Honorable Prime Minister of the country is serious about the development of the border districts of the country, so all the officers should develop the border district Pithoragarh as a model district.
