Migrant Uttarakhand residents met Special Principal Secretary Abhinav Kumar at the International Film Festival organized in Goa on Thursday. He said that all the migrants have an important role in the development of Uttarakhand. Kumar said that the Chief Minister of the state Pushkar Singh Dhami aims to make Uttarakhand a model state of the country by 2025. Its Chief Minister has called for participation from every section under Uttarakhand @ 25. Migrant organizations also came for this purpose. Every possible help will be given to the migrants by the state government. He said that every possible help will be given by the state government to encourage the cultural activities of Uttarakhand in Goa.
On this occasion, President of Garhwali Cultural Association, K.L. Welcoming Special Principal Secretary Abhinav Kumar on his arrival in Goa, Kotnala said that this is the first time that a representative of the Uttarakhand government has interacted with the migrants living in Goa. Kotnala said that we want to organize the Uttarakhand Festival program here, in which full cooperation from the state government is needed. Former President R.D. Paliwal, Secretary Yashpal Singh Negi, Dwarka Prasad etc. were involved.
