Uttarakhand / Dehradun : Uncontrollable truck at Chandramani Chowk, many people crushed, long jam

A major accident took place on Monday at Chandramani Chowk in Dehradun. Here an uncontrollable truck crushed many people. One person died and three people were injured in the accident. Those who have been taken to the hospital through 108.

It is being told that many people were buried under the truck. Police reached the spot after a long time of giving information. The incident is of police station Patel Nagar area. There was a long jam on the road after the incident.

Uncontrollable truck entered roadside huts

According to the information, an uncontrollable truck coming from Saharanpur near Chandrabani rammed into the roadside huts. After getting the information, the police force reached the spot and got involved in relief and rescue work.

Inspector Suryabhushan Negi of Patel Nagar Kotwali said that a truck coming from Saharanpur lost control near Chandrabani and rammed into illegally built huts on the side of the road.

One person has died while three have been injured in the accident. It is being told that the accident happened due to brake failure of the truck. The truck driver was coming from a long distance, honking the horn, but went uncontrolled there. After the accident, there was a long jam on both sides. The police got busy in opening the jam.

Jam on the highway for four hours, traffic disrupted

On the other hand, on Sunday, due to four-hour jam in Mangalore town on the Delhi-Dehradun highway, the drivers had to face a lot of trouble on Sunday. The people of the town also had to face a lot of trouble in reaching the highway. Due to the shortcut, many drivers entered the streets of the town, due to which the situation of jam remained there.

The problem of jam in Mangalore town has become a daily thing, but the jam of Mangalore roadways bus stand is now becoming a cause of trouble. Vehicles were coming from Haridwar side on Sunday morning, meanwhile vehicles from Landhora side also started coming towards the highway. The drivers started competing to get the vehicles out before each other. Within no time, traffic jams started here.
