Uttarakhand: CM Dhami worshiped with his wife in Daksh Prajapati temple
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami along with his wife reached the ancient Daksheshwar Mahadev Temple in Kankhal on Tuesday evening. Where he also performed havan-pujan along with Jalabhishek on the occasion of Mahalakshmi’s birthday. Mahant Ravindra Puri completed this puja which lasted for about 3 hours with complete rituals. Daksheshwar Mahadev Temple located in Kankhal has ancient history. It is also called the in-laws house of Lord Shankar, that is why the importance of this area is famous not only in the country but in the whole world. It is said that any worship done at this place does not prove unsuccessful. This is the reason why in the morning Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami very secretly reached Daksh Prajapati Temple with his wife and performed Rudrabhishek of Lord Shankar with complete rituals for about 3 hours and then performed Havan.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami while addressing the reporters after offering prayers at the temple of Daksh Prajapati said that I have prayed that there should be complete peace and happiness in the state. Like the colors of Holi, there should be colors of happiness in everyone’s life and every citizen of the state should go ahead and work for the progress of the state and the country.
During this, Mahant Ravindra Puri said that today is Mahalakshmi’s birthday. Mahalakshmi was also one of the 14 gems that emerged during the churning of the ocean. Who later was also called the wife of Lord Vishnu. Holi is such a festival for the refugees of the whole world, on which Lord Narasimha incarnated to protect Prahlad, the supreme devotee of Lord Vishnu. Whatever sadhna is done on this day, the virtuous fruit of that sadhna is obtained. This is the reason why Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami along with his wife reached Dakshinagri to offer prayers.
