Phooldei festival in Uttarakhand today, children showered colorful natural flowers in Vidhansabha Bhawan located in Bharadisain
On the occasion of Phooldei, the folk festival of Uttarakhand to be held on the solstice of Chaitra month, a large number of children of the area showered colorful natural flowers along with traditional auspicious songs in the Vidhansabha Bhavan located at Bharadisain. Assembly Speaker Mrs. Ritu Khanduri, Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj, Dr. with children. Dhan Singh Rawat, Saurabh Bahuguna, Dr. Prem Chand Aggarwal, MLA Anil Nautiyal etc met the children and encouraged them to connect with their folk culture and folk traditions.
While congratulating this auspicious festival, everyone along with the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly said that our festivals give us the message of connecting with nature and its protection. The need to preserve our folk traditions and rich cultural heritage was also told.
