A video of BJP candidate from Hyderabad Madhavi Lata is going viral. In this video, it can be seen that Madhavi Lata is checking the identity and Aadhar card of women wearing burqa in the polling booth and interrogating them.

After this video surfaced, Asaduddin Owaisi’s party AIMIM has lodged a complaint with the Election Commission and according to the information, a case has also been registered against him. Let us tell you that both Madhavi Lata and Owaisi are face to face from Hyderabad seat and voting has taken place on this seat. A case has been registered against Madhwati Lata under sections 171C, 186, 505 (1) (C) of the IPC and section 132 of the Representation of the People Act.

Madhavi asked the woman to lift her veil

She stopped at a polling booth in Azampur where they started checking the IDs of women waiting to vote. In a video, the woman was asked to lift her veil, after which the woman did so. During this, Madhavi Lata told the election officials in a strict tone that they should allow people to vote only after checking the ID properly.
