Indian cricket team player and leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is currently out of action due to illness. He is suffering from serious illnesses like dengue and chikungunya. This is why he has been away from cricket for a considerable period. Chahal himself shared this information on social media. His condition has become quite serious due to these illnesses.

Yuzvendra Chahal Health Update:
It is worth noting that Yuzvendra Chahal last played a group match in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for Haryana in November. Since then, he has not been part of the team. The reason for his absence from the team is now clear – he is battling dengue and chikungunya. His condition had deteriorated significantly, and doctors have advised him complete rest.

Yuzvendra Chahal posted an Instagram story, giving an update on his health. He said that he wanted to play on the field with the Haryana team, but it wasn’t possible due to his illness. Chahal then wished the team good luck for reaching the finals and expressed his hope to recover and return soon.

When will he make a comeback?
However, he did not specify when he will be fully fit and make a comeback. It is being said that he might be seen playing in the Vijay Hazare Trophy matches, which will start from December 24th. However, nothing can be said for sure; his return will entirely depend on his fitness.

Out of the Indian team for a long time
It is also worth mentioning that Yuzvendra Chahal has been out of the Indian senior team for a long time. He has not been part of the team since August 2023 and has not played any international matches since then. However, his performance in domestic and foreign cricket has been consistently good.
