A tragic accident has been reported near Raintoli in Rudraprayag. A truck went out of control and plunged into the Alaknanda River, resulting in the death of the truck driver. Upon receiving the information, SDRF and DDRF teams immediately rushed to the scene and launched a rescue operation. The rescue teams faced considerable difficulties due to the darkness and the steep slope.

The incident occurred on Saturday night. A truck loaded with goods was traveling from Rishikesh towards Rudraprayag. Near the Raintoli petrol pump in Rudraprayag, the truck lost control and fell into the Alaknanda River. The driver died in the accident.
Upon receiving the information, SDRF and DDRF teams launched a rescue operation. With great difficulty, the driver was pulled out of the wrecked truck and taken to the hospital, but he could not be saved.
