Himachal Pradesh : 1532 youths thank Kovid vaccine, CM Jai Ram Thakur for the first day in the district

State government getting free COVID vaccine for the age group of 18-44 years, enthusiasm in youth

The campaign for the introduction of the COVID vaccine for the age group of 18-44 has started in the district Una from today, for which there was enthusiasm among the youth. On the first day, 1532 youth administered the first dose of vaccine. The health department had prepared Kovid vaccination at 16 places in the district Una and vaccination was done as per the Kovid protocol.

Giving information in this regard, District Collector Una Raghav Sharma said that vaccination was done at 16 places in the district. Vaccination was done at Government Senior Secondary School, Bal Una and Town Hall in Una Block. Apart from this, vaccines have been provided at Government Primary School Basdehra, Government Senior Secondary School Santoshgarh, Sub Center Basal. Vaccination was done in Radha Swami Satsang Bhavan Amb, Chintpurni Hospital and CHC Dhusada under Khand Amb. In Haroli section, PHC Panjavar, CHC Dulahar, Government Primary School, Palkavaha, additional section Gagret included Government Senior Secondary School Ambota, Daulatpur Chowk College, Government Senior Secondary School Bhanjal. He said that the vaccination dose was given to the youth in Bangana Hospital and Thanakalan under the Thanakalam section on the first day. A maximum of 100 vaccines were arranged at each center.

Youngsters express their gratitude to CM for the vaccine

18-year-old Himanshu, a resident of Una, got vaccinated in the town hall on the first day and thanked Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur and the state government for the free vaccine. He said that there were good arrangements at the vaccination center and the COVID protocol was followed. Himanshu said that for the Kovid vaccine, he had registered the registration and slot on the Arogya Setu app.

Manisha, a Una resident, got vaccinated with her brother on the first day. Manisha said that vaccination is very important to prevent corona. In such a situation, all get their vaccinations done. Dharmveer Sharma, a resident of Basal, thanked Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur for vaccinating the youth above 18 years of age. He said that everyone should come to the vaccination center to get the vaccine only after getting their slot booked.

Slot to open two days ago

DC Raghav Sharma said that the booking of the slot can be done only two days before the date of vaccination, which can be booked online. The next vaccination session will be held on May 20, with slots opening on May 18 at 5 pm. Similarly, for the vaccinations to be held on May 24, the slots will open on May 22, 5 pm, May 27 for vaccinations, May 25, 5 pm and May 31 for vaccinations on May 29 at 5 pm.

Must book self-slot

CMO Dr. Raman Kumar Sharma said that pre-registration for vaccination is mandatory for persons between the age group of 18 to 44 years and without prior registration vaccination will not be done. On-the-spot registration will not be done after reaching the vaccination sites, so after booking their slots, all come to get vaccinated.

Dr. Raman Kumap Sharma urged people in the age group of 18 to 44 years to get themselves registered in advance on the CoWin portal or Arogya Setu App to avoid any inconvenience. You can also use the link http://selfregistration.cowin.gov.in/ for registration. After registering, the beneficiary will have to book the session himself, after which the information about booking the location will be given through an SMS. It is also mandatory to show this SMS at the vaccination center and only after that the beneficiary will be vaccinated.
