It is clearly visible in the video that on the day of Holi, some youths are forcibly applying color to a girl by surrounding her. The girl is trying to escape from the accused youths. He has covered his face with his hands.

Despite this, the youth are not ready to accept. Meanwhile, a young man brings an egg and breaks it on the girl’s head. At the same time, another young man comes near the girl’s mouth and says Happy Holi. The girl even slaps this young man. Taking cognizance of the matter, the Delhi Women’s Commission has issued a notice to the Delhi Police after the video went viral. The Women’s Commission has summoned the action taken report from the Delhi Police in this matter. Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chief Swati Maliwal has tweeted in this regard.

Four arrested

Delhi Police has arrested four accused including a minor in this case. According to the police, a Japanese woman was harassed by a group of boys on the pretext of applying color during Holi. After the related video went viral on social media, the accused have been identified and arrested. According to the Delhi Police, the accused have confessed to the incident.

Police told that the victim woman herself had tweeted this video, but later removed it and now she has tweeted a new one. It states that he is currently in Bangladesh and is ‘fit in mind and body’. This woman has neither given any complaint to the Delhi Police nor informed the Japanese Embassy regarding the incident.
